Material is central to the work of Nadi Sangama, and much of it begins here in Trinidad.
Our vessels are formed from wild clay gathered by hand from the land around us. The clay is processed in small batches, shaped by hand, dried slowly, and fired in ways that allow the character of the material to remain visible. Its colour, texture, grit, and response to fire are shaped by the ground it came from, making each piece inseparable from place.
Across the Studio and Earthmade, we continue to work with materials that carry a direct relationship to the island, including local beeswax, plant oils, botanicals, and other natural materials chosen for their physical qualities, function, and origin.
We are interested in material not simply as something to use, but as something that carries a trace of where it began.
Nadi Sangama is the shared creative practice of Marc Anthony and Alice Minicozzi.
The work grows from a life built between different histories, places, materials, and ways of seeing. What began as a shared creative language has become a house for the things we make, use, gather, and return to.
Studio works and Earthmade goods emerge from the same place: a close attention to material, image, function, memory, and the life surrounding us in Trinidad.

Nadi Sangama was founded in a place shaped by meeting.
Forest, river, wetland, coast, migration, memory, and culture exist here in close relation. The landscape is never simply a backdrop to the work. It enters through material, climate, rhythm, and the ways we understand home.
